Just like Granny said all those years ago, the real secret to authentic Southern Bar-B-Que is all in how it’s cooked — low and slow — piles of award-winning, lip-smacking, fall-off-the-bone goodness smoked in house with hickory wood for hours and hours on end.

our process

Here at Lucille's, we're in no rush. We hand rub and marinate our meats for over 12 hours and cook them in the smoker for up to 24 hours to make sure you get smokin' hot bar-b-que at every visit.

We cook from scratch fresh every morning. From our legendary buttermilk biscuits and sweet apple butter (served with our compliments) to swoon-worthy mains, sides and desserts, we whip up Southern deliciousness just the way Lucille taught us — with the finest ingredients and a whole lot of love.

our pride & joy

We take pride in our perfectly cooked bar-b-que — with a smoke-ring of pink around the edges, encrusted by a “bark” of spices and juices, and so succulent it practically falls off the bone.

If you have upwards of 12 hours to spare, you can even watch the tri tip or brisket or rack of ribs being cooked with hickory wood right in front of you in our dining room smoker we like to call "Smokestack Lightning". She's our pride and joy.
