Readers' Pick: Lucille's Smokehouse Bar-B-Que, 2245 Village Walk Dr, Henderson. Why do readers love Lucille's? It could be they're suckers for Lucille's after dinner suckers, or for the oh-so tender tri-tip, or for the sweet potatoes kissed with honey or cabbage slaw tossed with peanuts. Or it could be just for the novel atmosphere; Lucille's interior has the kind of amusing kitschy feel that can make a downtrodden working stiff almost feel like he or she is on vacation.

Staff's Pick: Lucille's! Why do readers love Lucille's? Maybe for the same reason we do, which has a lot to do with the aforementioned tri-tip but also with the big fluffy biscuits, creamy cheese grits - a Sin City rarity - truly tasty mint juleps. Sweet tea, too, for those of us who aren't inclined to imbibe.
